PYHA REFUND POLICY
All PYHA participation fees are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances the PYHA Board of Directors may, at it's sole and absolute discretion, approve a full or partial refund. The PYHA Board of Directors are under no obligation to approve a refund. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Treasurer of PYHA and must be approved by the PYHA Board of Directors.
The Board will approve a prorated refund if the request is made because of an injury to the player that, in the written opinion of a medical doctor, prohibits the player from participating in hockey for a period of at least 8 weeks. Refunds in this case will be made within 30 days of Board approval.
The Board will approve a prorated refund if the request is made because the player and his/her family are moving from the Princeton area (over 75 miles) during the hockey season. Refunds in this case will be made within 30 days of Board approval.
All other refund requests for reasons other than those stated above will be reviewed by the Board on an individual basis.
No refund will be issued if:
· Request is submitted after October 15th (Midgets—deadline is September 15th)
· Player has decided not to participate and neither condition listed above exists
Once the player’s age group tryouts begin, the PYHA refund policy takes effect.
